Welcome to my hobbies page. I have a lot of hobbies, most of which require graphics to document them in order to share them. I collect meteorites and fossils, as well as biological and geologic oddities. Also in need of graphics is the gardening hobby which I share with my lovely wife and my older hobby of designing and building flying balsa wood models. For now, due to the limitations of time and space I am only going to present some of the more low   graphics hobbies such as my chili pepper recepies and my SETI@home data crunching. What is really going to suck up space is my art portfolio but that is the most fun of the hobbies presented here so far. I have saved up a bunch of really stupid old artwork from when I was a kid and I basically hose it here for your entertainment. So, sit back and enjoy the show, and please don't annoy the bulletin board rollovers.

Art Portfolio -
This is a bunch of my childhood art, high school art and contemporary art. Basically I just hose the pathetic junk for your amusement.
Chili Peppers -
I have a bunch of chili pepper recipes to share on these pages. Lots of humor to be found here too, for some reason humor and chilies are synonymous. There is also a section on chili facts that tell you all you need to know about the biology of chili peppers. Check out the gardening section and the Chili Pepper Gardener's Diary!
SETI@home -
... Is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). At one time I participated in the worlds largest distributed computer project where I downloaded and analyzed radio telescope data. There are years of progress reports here. I no longer crunch data for SETI, I've turned my sights towards the troubles here on Earth via the Folding@home project below.
Folding@home -
... is a distributed computing project which studies protein folding, misfolding, aggregation, and related diseases. They use novel computational methods and large scale distributed computing, to simulate timescales thousands to millions of times longer than previously achieved. This has allowed them to simulate folding for the first time, and to now direct their approach to examine folding related disease. Follow Team Crunchinator's progress as we contribute to this humane project!
